When Your Soap Is Too Fat - Put It On A Soap Diet!
A real quick tip here about fatty soap...
Some soap ends up being too fatty, which typically occurs when you use too much fat or too little lye in your soap making. Soap with too much fat, which is called free fat because it did not combine with the lye, will not dry correctly.
When this happens, it will stink to high heaven as the fat begins to go rancid. If you made soap with too much free fat in it, you can do nothing about it other than learn from your mistakes and start over.
Hey, soap making is not a science so don't despair.
Just keep experimenting with your quantities and you'll soon be an expert soap maker.
